Camp Tournesol’s mission is to inspire a lifelong love of the French language by providing an inclusive and engaging camp experience. We aim to welcome children of all backgrounds and French language levels, offering opportunities to grow in confidence and proficiency. Through fun, immersive activities, we help campers build a strong foundation in French while creating unforgettable memories.

We’re looking for someone to join our team in Woodstock that will assist us in preparing for the 2026 camp season.

Responsibilities

As Customer Service, your duties and responsibilities may include some or all of the following: 

  • Respond to parent emails and phone calls in a timely, professional manner
  • Provide accurate information regarding camp programs, policies and procedures
  • Conduct phone calls with parents to discuss behavioural incidents, disciplinary actions, and camper removals when required
  • Address challenging or escalated parent interactions with professionalism and discretion
  • Supporting and addressing camp staff concerns
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management to support camp operations

Successful Candidates Should Possess:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent;
  • High level of professionalism, discretion and sound judgment
  • Proficiency with office applications, and aptitude for learning new software and systems
  • Ability to manage difficult or sensitive conversations calmly and effectively
  • Teamwork and collaboration skills with the ability to take initiative
  • Strong planning and organizational skills, with the ability to adapt to change
  • The ability to anticipate problems and opportunities, and develop effective solutions 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Must be able to commute to workplace location, this is an in-office position
  • This position may be funded through the Canada Summer Jobs program. Applicants must be Canadian citizens, permanent residents, or protected persons to be eligible.

This is a full-time, temporary contract role that is a great opportunity for people who enjoy working with a team.

Hourly Wage

$19.60 per hour
