This summer your adventurous kids will learn loads about the planet and how to care of it at our nature camp! Join us this season at our Eco Explorers camp, one of our five Specialty Camps for the 2020 summer.
Your children are not only looking at a week of nature-themed fun, with our eco camp they’ll also come home after the week with a lot more knowledge about how to care for our environment! This program is the one for your little one if you or they have any sort of passion for our environment and a desire to learn more about the planet! Whether they’re looking to learn about the environment, want to know how to be eco-friendly, want to learn some fun environmentally responsible DIY projects or simply have a blast in nature, there’s an activity for them at our Eco Explorers camp. At this exciting and trendy nature camp, your little environmentalists will dig deep into many environmental topics and have tons of fun along the way. Our hands-on program takes a unique approach to learning and we frame and talk about the state of our planet. Our highly trained and knowledgeable staff will lead eco-themed workshops and games that will have your children looking at the world and environment around them differently, like scavenger hunts, making functional DIY eco-friendly products, and growing and caring for your very own plant! Don’t fret, whether your child is just starting to learn about the environment or they’re already a little Greta Thunberg, the kids who go through our eco camp will all come out as aspiring little environmentalists!
This eco and nature camp will have your little ones so entertained and invested in caring for their environment that they won’t even recognize that school is actually in session! Our little eco explorers will leave the program with deeper compassion and empathy for our planet as well as for all the people, plants, and animals that live in it. They’ll also have a solid foundation of knowledge and understanding of the current state of the environment and learn some essential team-building and collaboration skills along the way.
You will be incredulous at just how knowledgeable, informed, and passionate your little budding environmentalists will be about our planet and how to take care of it when they get home after a week at our eco camp! They will also come home with some fun eco-friendly DIY projects and/or their very own little plant to care for! They could even be dragging you out to the next pro-environment rally!
Camp Tournesol has been welcoming tens of thousands of enthusiastic campers to our wide array of French day and overnight camps since 2001, and now we’re proud to present our Specialty Camps offered entirely in English!
While these specialty camps are separate from the rest of our French camps, your little environmentalists will still join the rest of our enthusiastic campers for some water-fuelled fun at the weekly splash pad excursion on Thursday. They won’t miss out on the legendary imaginary campfire Wednesdays or our big festival Fridays either!
